The Richard Skinner home in
Lubbock was the scene of a lin-
gerie shower Tuesday from 7 to

Kingsbury, Odessa. Mrs. Skinner
greeted gtiests on arrival and
presented them to members of
the receiving line.
In the receiving line were Mrs.
L. D. Witt, mother of the bride-
to-be, and Miss Patsy Witt, the
hohoree. The honoree was ra-
diant ih a princess style dress
of j>ale yellow cotton satin, gar-
nished with white lace.
The refreshment table was
covwed with a wmte ftand.macte
linen cloth. Chinese woven linen
napkins of shades of purple and
orchid were used. Refreshments
of individually iced and decor-
ated cakes, punch, mints and as-
sorted nuts were served. Miss
Barbara Cain and Miss Becky
Martin poured punch and serv-
ed.
" Attending the gift display was
Mrs. Orene Whorton. Before leav-
ing, guests were asked to regis-
bound
bride's book inscribed with sil-
ver lettering.
Miss Hazel Savage and Mrs.
Dale Coleman alternated at the
registry table which held mem-
ory candle nestled in a base of

The honoree is a daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. -L. D. Witt of Cros
byton, and the prospective groom
is the son of Mr. and Mrs U. L.
Kingsbury of Cisco. Hie couple
are to be married August 20 in
Crosbyton Church of Christ. Cline
Drake will perform the ceremo-
ny.
