Bessie Grace came over last Saturday and
will go back today at K:830. She came over with M.L.
Baker who took my place in the pulpit while a went
to Hood 16 miles west to preach a baccalaureate
sermon. We have enjoyed both of them lots. Bessie
Graoe went with me out to Hood yesterday.and there
were three others in the party from the WIBey Memorial
Methodist church. E.G.stayed all night with
the Smyers, lastbight, members of our church and
where there
s a nioe young lady to entertain her.
Glad you had rain and that things are
,looking somuoh better there. Looks like some pretty
weather hbs set in for us today. We have been having
plenty of rain and some mighty cool weather, and it
feels good $o get the sunshine and warm weather.
A. C. Commencement exercises will be from '
4th to 7th of June. I shall spend the 6th and 7th
there and perhaps go home with B. G. and Jake on the
Jth. As Mary Franoes is graduating this year I shall
go to t'he T. P. C.Commenoement for a day or so too.
hat will be just next week-May 28-25-twp weeks
earlier-than A.C. Looks like a good deal of running
about, but there seems to be no other way. I think
m can d, some good at Milford talking to Truman
about her life work whioh is bothering her right
now.
We are-going to hare Childred's Day
