the 1'nion Pacific railroad track

wagon and the fanner got out (
fix it. leaving the trailed stalk
cutter sticking out on the rail-
road track. There was a curve in
the track that prevented the en-
gineer front taking in the situa-
tion until too late to stop. The
engine was derailed and (Iimil
aged the engineer and fireman
managed to jump and save their
lives though the farmer mine out
of the mix up with a broken
ankle.
Now naturally the farmer will
