Winter has indeed put in its
appearance and seems to send a
chilling blast, which drives all
pedestrians closer to th9 fire.
There hag been some little sick-
ness in our midst the past week
among whom were: Master Altos
Prince. Mrs. J. D. McElroy, and
daughter, Miss Lela; also the
family of A. C. Williamson. All
are much improved at this writ-
ing.
From the demand of oats, Mil-
let and sorghum seed, our farm-
ers intend to raise their own feed
in abundance this year. Wo think
that the importance of the diver-
sification of crops has been fully
demonstrated to all.
Miss Lula Frazier lias been
visiting her brother, W. C. Ft a/
ier, of Kerens, for several days.
Messrs S. E. and Presly Frazier
went to Prairie Grove Saturday.
W. I). Frazier had business in
Mexia Friday.
Messrs Chandler and Frazier
had business in Hubbard City and
