as result of a severe whipping ho re-
ceived while a prisoner In a road camp
noar Bono. As result of an examina-
tion by doctors and an investigation
by County Attorney Feutherstone
chnfges have .been filed against Com-
missioner "Will Hickman and Overseer
"Will Booco. Tho case is set fdr hear-
ing County court on October 17.
' It Is alleged that Pollock was beat-
en so Bcvercly with a lash that be fain-
ted. The attending physician says he
will recover.

were given Pollock and when the

Pollock was charged With violation
