On an Old Charge
Arthur Smith colored was
arrested yesterday by Sheriff Den-LP0?88.8
man on a warrant from Brady.
Lasfyear Smith was in the black-
smithing business at Brady and
at the rear'of his shop kept .a hog
pen. During the muddy weather
complaint was made against him
for keeping a filthy pen. - He
went into court and was fined a
pertty stiff fine but for some
reason it was never paid. His
arrest yesterday was on the old
oharge. Whether the fine was
just or unjust the writer will not
say but we" do know that at the
time there were worse - places in
Brady than Smith's hog pen.
