the privilege. Mobley presented a sub-
stitute to cut out the annual appropri-
stitute and offered another reducing
this appropriation to $S500 annually.
This substitute was lost. Gaines in-
troduced resolutions to strike out en-
tire npropriation for the Prairieview
Normal declaring that no negroes had
lived in Comanche county for years.
Resolutions were . tabled. Crockett of
Washington renewed .Mobley s motion
to let the appropriation for teachers'
salaries at the Girls' Industrial School
at Denton from $23000 to $30000 an
nually. Motion is still pending.

Funeral services will take place
from the family residence at 2 o'clock

tion and charming manners she is a
devout Christian girl who finds tima
to do good as she moves along In pur-
suit of pleasure. She has for many
years taken an active part in church
work thereby winning the esteem and
love of the good people of the city.
The groom likewise bears a most
enviable reputation for upright living.
He. too has grown up in Brownwood
and Is known throughout the city as a
young man of good moral habits and a
Christian gentleman. He has thrice
been honored by election to one of the
most Important offices within the gift
of the people of the city and has con-
ducted himself in such a wav that
fault cannot be found with him. Clvde
Mcintosh is: unquestionably a. most
exemplary young gentleman and in
every way worthy of the estimable
young lady he has made his wife.
The Bulletin joins with hundreds of
admiring friends in wishing this happy
young couple a. life of unmarred pleasure.

eral's 'department that an order be
sent to the district attorney at Tulsa
to ask Judge Campbell for a new
grand jury to try Governor Haskell
and others on the charges of conspir-
