club excursionits reached Brown-
wood last night at about 8 o'clock.
A committee of business men met
the excursionists at the depot and
esoorted them to tue Crown hotel
where they mixed and mingled
with our oitizens until a late hour.
The excursionists consist of some
thing near eighty of the leading
business men of Dallas and the
purpose of their visit to this sec
tion of the state is to bring Dallas
and the great west into a closer re
lationship. Thev left Dallas
Monday monring and expect to
get home Saturday night Their
itenerary covers a large part of six
railway systems and they will vis
it nearly sixty cities and towns on
the trip.

Sheriff Sandlin of Granbury

this western district was here last
night on his way to Rusk with
the man who stole Sheriff Wall's
horse at Brpdy. The prisoner
