Mind Hard to Make Up
They tell this of a Clay Center
woman, but we doubt the story; at
least we have never met up with a
woman who couldn't make up her
mind on just what-the wanted if
she could only find it on sale: She
can't buy her coat until she gets her
hat and knows what it is to be like,
and she can't buy her hat until she
gets her dress and knows its color;
and .she can't buy her dress until
•he ia-'sure of her shoes: and she
can't get her shoes because they
mu«t match' her coat, and she can't
make up. her mind about that—

Now an* effective remover has
been devised, in the form of a

Predicts Crowded W-erld
If the prediction made by Penck,
the German statistician and geogra-
phist, comes true, the world., which
now has 1,800,000.000 inhabitants,
♦all soon be crowded. The earth
can "support about five times that
number, he says, and he estimates
that if the present rate of increase
in population centmaes, it will have
that number i® three ^centuries.
South America, iu the vicinity of
Brazil, frill have the heaviest popu-
lation, he thinks, and be .beat able
to support it. He believes Brazil
can take care of l;2QQ,QGtfjg00. The
British empire could, he says, sup-
port 600,000,000.,. _

Hart-Parr Power
Will Cut Your Farming Costs
Everywhere tarmers are cutting their posts—in
many instances cutting them right in two—with
dependable Hart-Parr power. Not only are they sav-
ing money by using low-price fuel, but they are abo
saving money by performing two or more operations
at one time. Unfailing Hart-Parr power makes'it
possible to plow day and night during the bast
season, to turn overacre after acre, regardless at heat,
flies or |iardness of soil. Hart-P&rT tractors are maide
in three sizes for small, medium or large farms. Cotne

Gentlemen: 1 was asked the other flay
if my 16-30 HarJ-Parr had enough power to
handle my 12" four bottom plow and It sure
does. It handles it paaily. I have plowed
and disced about 800 acres and am tdore'%
than well pleased with it. I use nothing,
but low grade feul which it burns juitas^
good as it does gasoline and uses no more
of it. Yours truly, Signed Henry Kuhler
