Half the way, half the way,
Half the way onward,
All in the Valley of Knowledge
Rushed the "Two Dozen."
Forward, ye Sophomore Class,
Charge for the goal; go fast!
Into the Valley Of Knowledge
Rushed the "TI'wo Dozen."
Freshmen to the right of them,
Juniors to the left of them,
Seniors in front of them,
Shouting g, "'Let's forward !"
Stormed at with piercing words,
Boldly they marched with swords
Into the jaws of life,
Into the mouth of strife
Rushed the "Two Dozen."
Faithful to their promises,
Faithful each one of them,
Seeing the senior class
Charging for victory, while
All the soph's wondered, yet
Plunged for the goal.
I.ight thru the line they stole.
Juniors and seniors
Nleel'(d ack with E's and F's,
Sad and discouraged;
Then perished "fish" as well--but not,
Not the "Two Dozen."
Seniors to the right of them,
JuIiors to the left of them,
Freshmen behind them
Pleading, "Wait for us." But
Learning their fearful grades
Classes low and high had made,
Safe thru the jaws olf life,
Back from the mouth of strife,
Rushed the "'Two Dozen."'
When can their glory fade?
Oh the brave charge they made!
All the "fish" wondered.
Honor the ranks they pass,
Honor the sophomore class,
Noble "Two Dozen."
