will bo spent In preparation of
the opening of school next Monday

tho following statement to make
to students and the public
In order to start tho now school
year otf in tho best ot shape high
school students will bo enrolled
during tho present week Seniors
will bo enrolled Friday nftomoon
at 100 oclock p m Juniors at
300 oclock p m Friday Sophomores
at 100 a m Saturday and
Freshmen at 230 Saturday All
high school students aro asked to
report at tho high school study
hall at tho times specified

Certain changes In tho course of
study are being made though
practically all courses offered heretofore
will bo offered again
Tuition rates for the first grado
aro 300 por month for grades
two to seven inclusive are 100
per month and for high school
students approximately six dollars
per month Tho stato now
sets tho rate for high school tuition
transfer and us this will not
bo set until some time in October
tho high school rate may vary
slightly
The state is now paying tuition
for most of tho high school
students up to 21 years of ago
from tho rural schools so if you
are not sure whether students
are not eligible for tuition to be
paid by their districts and the
state it will be well to confer
with Judge Graham or Supt
Younger in regard to same Since

law tuition accounts will boon
practically the same basis as
last yqar
Laboratory Fees
Laboratory fees for science
courses have been reduced from
500 to 300 for the year 150
payable for each term
Typing fees will bo 100 per
month
Opening Exercises
Opening oxerclses for the school
will be held Monday September
5th at 900 a in All patrons are

receive their books Pupils should
bring report cards and especially
book cards as they will bo needed

Summer Books Returned
It is urgently requested that all
hooks that have been issued during
tho summer for study bo returned

no one will bo hold up Monday
when enrollment takes place

time with sufficient funds on hand
and yet coining in from the state
to clear all bills and leave a small
amount to be applied on the 1932

Citizens of Tulia and the Plains
cf Texas had a fairly good glimpse
of a partial eclipse of tho sun yesterday
at 230 oclock when nearly
half of the sun was obscured
by the passing of the moon be
tvpon the earth and tho sun

unobstructed view of tho eclipse

it was plainly visible when viewed
through darkened glass
