60 ABILENE CHRISTIAN COLLEGE
321.-Reading of the Gospel of John. During this and
the two following courses there is made a thorough review
of New Testament Greek grammar along with a
study of the syntax and characteristics of New Testament
Greek, based on a standard advanced grammar.
Fall term.
322.-Mark is read, translation and grammatical interpretation.
Winter term.
323.-I Corinthians. A study of the historical situation
and a grammatical interpretation of the epistle.
Spring quarter.
361.-Acts of Apostles and some parallels from the
Gospel of Luke. A grammatical interpretation of Acts
and a study of the Greco-Roman world. Fall term.
362.-Hebrews. A grammatical interpretation of this
epistle and a comparison of its style and teachings with
those of some of the other epistles. Winter term.
363.-Galatians. A critical examination of Paul's
style and messages in this epistle as compared with those
he used in other epistles. Spring term.
361, 362, 363 will probably not be given until 1932-33.
LATIN
Students who begin Latin in college should take at
least the Beginners' Latin, the Second Year Latin, and
one advanced course. Those credited with two admission
units from high school should take Latin 321 or 324;
those with three units should take Latin 322 or 325;
those with four units should take Latin 323 or 326. Students
with more than two units in high school Latin and
who have more admission units than necessary, may
upon recommendation of the Latin Department receive
advanced credit, provided that they pass creditably two
or more courses beyond the ones for which advanced
credit is asked, and provided they apply to the Registrar
for such credit in the first term of their freshman year.
Prospective teachers should take 351, 352, and 353.
Students who elect Latin as their subject for a major
should take 351, 352, 353, 382, 383 and at least two other
