587. Concepts of Piano Performance. Survey of methods and literature for
teaching piano on all levels with emphasis on technique, musicianship, and
historical style.
588. Concepts of Vocal Performance. Survey of methods and pedagogical
procedures in vocal instruction based upon methodical, empirical and
psychological control of physiological functions.
600. Guided Study. May be repeated for up to six hours of credit.
654. Composition. Composition, with work in both contemporary vocal and
instrumental writing, and optional work with synthesizer. May be repeated for
up to six hours credit. Prerequisites: MUST 212, 232, and four semesters of
