CHEMISTRY 410. ADVANCED INORGANIC CHEMISTRY. An advanced
study of the topics in inorganic chemistry. Three lectures per week.
Prerequisite: Chemistry 302. Three semester hours.
CHEMISTRY 412. ADVANCED QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS. Advanced
topics in quantitative analysis, including instrumental methods. One
class period and six hours of laboratory weekly.
Prerequisite: Chemistry 302. Three semester hours.
CHEMISTRY 415. SPECIAL TOPICS IN CHEMISTRY. Given on demand
and varied to suit the needs of the chemistry students. Qualified
students may elect individual work in a specialized field of chemistry
under the direct supervision of the instructor. Open only by permission
of the instructor.
One to three semester hours.
CHEMISTRY 535-536. ADVANCED GENERAL CHEMISTRY. Offered in
summer session only; enrollment restricted to high school science
teachers.
Prerequisite: Acceptance by Science Institute.
Three semester hours each course.
CHEMISTRY 537. ADVANCED INORGANIC CHEMISTRY. An advanced
study of topics in inorganic chemistry. Enrollment restricted to high
school science teachers.
Prerequisite: 18 hours of chemistry; Graduate standing.
Three semester hours.
CHEMISTRY 538. ADVANCED QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS. An advanced
study of the principles of quantitative inorganic analysis. Enrollment
restricted to high school science teachers.
Prerequisite: Chemistry 537; Graduate standing.
Three semester hours.
