Seminole Police Chief M. IV. Gaddis inspects a part of the loot
recovered here when police and sheriff's men broke up a hub cap
theft ring. Five youths were jailed after pleading guilty. City
Patrolman Weldon ltiordan was given most credit for smashing
the theft activities which had been going on since the last, Christ-
mas season. Officers estimated that hub eaps and auto fender
skirts valued at more than $500 had been reported stolen since
Christmas. About one-third of the thefts were cleared with arrest
of the youths, Caddis said.—Sentinel Photo.
