anese army increases the Russian
casualties in last Sundays battle at
Chlu Tien Cheng on the Yaln river
The Japanese have buried about 1400
Russians and ljave 603 of the enemys
wounded in the Hold hospitals It is
estimated that the total Russian casu-
alties exceed 2500 Over 100 Russian
prisoners are en route to Matsuayami
where they are expected to arrive

warrant for 910000000 to be delivered
to J P Morgan Co of New York on
account of the Panama Canal pnrchaso
was taken to that city today by Sec-
retary of the Treasury Shaw It will
bo delivered by the Secretary to Mor-
gan Co today The Secretary also
took with him certain bonds which
have been deposited with the Govern
mont as security for public moneys
which are to be returned to the banks
