MOTORS arc worn out in winter. With less
than half the mileage you probably put twice
the strain on your engine in cold weather.
Ordinary parafiine-base lubricating oil is like a
jelly at freezing temperatures and is solid at zero.
This means difficult starting that strains the starter
and battery and it means no bearing or cylinder
lubrication until the heat of the engine reduces the
solid mass of oil to a fluid. A few minutes turning
over without lubrication will cause more wear on
the engine than many miles of driving.
-TP- Oils are the latest development in
sciendfic lubrication. They are produced
from pure paraffine-base crude by a
process for which patents are pending.
This process has marked advantages over other
methods. It preserves all the lubricating bodies of
the crude oil just as they occur in nature" There is
positively no blending of light and heavy oils to
produce various grades. It removes all the paraffine
wax.

In terms of performance this means perfect lu-
brication at all times smoother more efficient oper-
ation for your engine longer life reduced repair bills
and more mileage. It means easy starting in winter
with the same grade of oil that you use
in summer the one best suited to lu-
bricate your engine.
It is wise economy to pay 45c a quart
