B. A. 139. Business Psychology. A study of the main
priciples of psychology used by business firms in advertising
and selling, including the emotional elements, perception, laws
of interest, laws of suggestion, and the time and place of ar-
gument. Prerequisite: One course in Psychology. Second
semester. 11:30 T. T. S. Room 5. Credit: 3 semester hours.

B. A. 140. Economics. A study of the economic develop -
ment of the United States, with particular emphasis on the in
dustrial movement and the westward movement subsequent to
the Civil War period. Second semester. Credit: 3 semester
hours. Advanced.
B. A. 45 a, b. Business Organization and Administration.
This is a general course embracing a study of the forms of
business organization, general problems of administration, pro-
duction, and finance. Three recitations per week. Prerequi-
site: Senior standing. Both semesters. 8 T. T. S. Room 5.
Credit: 6 semester hours. Advanced.
B. A. 127. Accounting Theory and Practice. This is an
advanced course in general accounting. The student is taught
to analyze the balance sheet and income sheet; valuation pro-
blems; special problems in corporation accounting and C. P. A.
problems. Prerequisite: Accounting 15 a, b. Credit: 3
semester hours. (Not offered 1932-33.)
B. A. 128. Auditing Procedure. A course designed to ac-
quaint the student with the methods and the technique of au-
diting. During the term each student is required to make a
detailed audit and write up the reports of a business firm un-
der the direction of the instructor. Three recitations and one
laboratory period each week. Prerequisite or parallel: Ac-
counting 127. Credit: 3 semester hours. (Not offered 1932-33.)
B. A. 138. Marketing. The aim of this course is, to de-
velop the ability of the student to analyze the variety of day to
