by Jessica Willis
YJ StaffWriter
There is a big vacant space
on the first floor of the Packer
Administration Building next
to the Office of Financial
Aid.
Why?
The Admission Office
moved to a new location
before Spring Break to pro-
vide members of the admis-
sion staff larger work space
and individual offices for
meeting with visiting students
and families.
The Admission Office's new
home formerly the Education
Building on campus is located
adjacent the Mabee University
Center. The building original-
ly was constructed as a Naval
recruiting station after World
War II.
Trudy Mohre in her first
year as Director of Admission
at HPU has looked ahead and
evaluated various office needs
and goals. Mohre believed
the former admission office
space did not allow the pri-
