Something has coated 35 square miles of Lake Erie,
but are conflicting reports about oust what the coat-
ing is. The coast guard says it's oil. But the
Crhysler Corporation says it isn't. The substance
was accidentally discharged from a Chrysler company
storage tank in Michigan. And the company claims
it's a water soluable chemical which is harmless to
humans, animals and plant life. But the coast guardsays it's oil.
