Notes

The Junior Black Academy of Arts and Letters presents the exhibition "Dallas and Fort Worth's' Black Living Legends Exhibit" featuring men and women who have made history by continuing a tradition of excellence in their careers and services to their community. Exhibition ran from January 15, 1995 through May 21, 1995.

Sadye Gee was named one of the honorees of the 1995 Dallas and Fort Worth’s Black Living Legends. Gee has been recognized for her services within her community as a secretary, teacher, librarian, media specialist, PTA coordinator, curriculum writer and for being involved in many associations where she eventually wrote her book “Black Presence in Dallas.”
