said he hatched the idea..to show that forged documents can be
accepted as valid..if their content is plausible. The so-called
secret documents included dispatches attributed to former Secret(

of state Dean Rusk and other high ranking government officials.
Buckley says publishing the phony documents does not damage his
magazine's credibility..but rather enhances it's analytical
