Audio cassette from The Black Academy of Arts and Letters recorded during one of two spring dialogues featuring the Black Living Legends of 1997. The tape was recorded on March 8th, 1997 and featured C.C Berry, Clifford Davis, Iola Johnson, Jean Lacey, Lucy Phelps-Patterson. The tape includes one track of poorly recorded audio with indistinguishable speech and medium static throughout.
Audio cassette from The Black Academy of Arts and Letters recorded during the second Black Living Legends Speaks speaker series held in the spring of 1997. The event featured John Briggs, Edison Fowlks, Foster Kidd, Mamie McKnight, Travis Lewis, Ima Runnels and Allison Tucker. The tape includes two tracks of audio that are noisy but with the content of the speakers still maintained enough to be heard and understood.
