The children of the employed mothers made higher scores in the
e achievement and behavior problems than the children of unemployed
mothers. Both scores seemed to have been caused by the wider exper-
ience and greater initiative possessed by the child whose mother work-
ed. Both groups made high scores in the personality tests. This test

The results found in this study seem to justify the conclusion that
