sailed into the Pate Museum of Transportation, west
of Fort Worth, today -- completing a 596-mile, two-
weeks' trip that' , 280-mile M journey
in the average family car. The driver of the truck
which delivered the M-S-B-5 said he had to detour a
lot, since the 22-foot-I high boat couldn't clear
low bridges and power lines. The minesweeper is one
of 45 M-S-B-5's built..-.The Navy has placed it on

vessel to Pate M Foundation President Mrs. A.M.
Pate Senior today. This particular minesweeper has
been held in reserve at the Naval storage facility at
