USE
FILMS FOR SOCIAL CHANGE
We need your help to bring our films to the communities!
You can arrange a filmseries yourself, or get some
organization to sponsor one: a club, a university, a
political group, a TV station. Get something going and
share 25% of the proceeds for your efforts.
Or, just help us spread the word, and we will love you
for it.
Write and tell us what you can do.
F ILMMAKEHS !
You can participate in Films for Social Change by pro-
viding us with one print or your film. You will share in
the proceeds from the rentals of the print, while you
remain the owner and keep full control over the use of your
print. If it turns out that we can use more than one print
of your film, we will advance the lab costs for the subse-
quent prints. We will also help in selling prints of your
films, or in finding a larger distributor, if you are inter-
ested.
Tell us about your films, and ask us for a copy of our
standard contract,
RENTALS:
To order our films for rental, indicate your selection
of titles and the date you would like to show them. All
films are 16mm and sound. Please include one or two
alternative dates if possible. For a second showing on the
same or following day: add half of the standard rental rate
as an additional charge. Rental fees should be paid in
advance to reserve a booking on the specified date.
PURCHASES:
Because we have only a limited number of prints available,
our general policy is to provide preview prints on a
rental basis. When you purchase the film, the rental fee
will be deducted from the sales price.
Some film libraries., we realize, are not in a position
to pay for previews. In such cases we make every effort to
meet your special needs.
