Before we get into the weather, we'd like to tell you about
a blessed event in the Ward Andrews family. A 'Little over
a year ago, Ward bought a horse, which was standing out-
side an Alpo plant, e rejection slip pinned to her tail.
Ward took this hapless animal under his wing and gave her
lots of oats and lots of hay and lots of love a.id today,
this horse which once looked so poor, still looks pretty
bad. But she turned out to be a good mother. ar knew
she was expecting so he stayed up nearly all night to get
a look at the stork. But he finally fell fast asleep on
his little pallet in the barn.
And when he woke up this morning and ran outside, he was
shocked at what he found. His horse had given birth to a
gooses Ward was on the telephone trying to contact the
Guiness Book of World Records when his young mm told him
he had made a mistake, that the baby horse... ..
was over in the pasture with her mother. It was with
a great deal of pride and satisfaction...and even a little
smugness...that Ward surveyed this latest addition to theFILM HERE
