Bank clock which has hung at the corner of Seventh and Houston Streets since 1935, has been taken down. But *2
forgotten. It has been loaded
on the bed of a truck, complete with a portion of the Lionc Club band, and will be moved to the bank's modernistic new building at Sixth and Burnett Streets. For years, the clock was the city's major timepiece. But a few years ago, it became overshadowed by a much larger, revolving clock on top of the Continental National Bank Building. As the truck moves out, the band plays such numbers as "America" and "Escort of Honor."
NEW BANK SIGN
Time moves along quickly, and soon the clock is delivered to its new resting place inside the motor bank. The new facilities will open for business April 24th. Bus- iness will continue as usual at the old building through April 20th.
