CARSWELL DOLLS 1-1-1-1-1-1SOUND ON FILM COXING
Those dolls from Viet Nam are just dolls, and
nothing more. Carswell Air Force base has 66 of
them turned in by anxious citizens after a
report that some may have been booby-trapped.
Carswell says the dolls have been thoroughly
examined and they contain no explosives. Mrs. R.H.
Macklin, wife of an Air Force * colonel, says
she bought her doll in Cambodia 18 months ago and
turned it in just to make sure it was okay. Thomas
Ashton says he paid about five dollars for the
dolls he bought in Viet Nam. Ashton is a civilian
