The Gloco Episode
Act 1. Scene Bailey Hall any time
during the school term. The main
action of the play certera around two
young men and their Bcurcli for hair
oil. Having dates and no hair oil
something must be done.
Characteis: Pats Edmundson and
Tom Holden.
Scene 1. Holdpir and Edmundson
meeting In room of former.
Edmundson: Have you any hair of
Holden? Ihave a date and I simply
must have something to paste down
my unruly locks (lisping).
Holden: No I don't have a drop
and I too have a date.
Edmundson: Oh dear what shall
we do. I wouldn't think of going out
without having my hair pasted down.
Holden: Neither would I.
Edmundson: (Burying head in
hands sobbing softly then jumps
from where he was sitting) I have It.
There is Borne Gloco in Skinny Ed-
wards room. We will go down and
borrow some of it.
Holden: Lend on Romeo; 1 am
with you until death do us part.
Act 2. Scene laid in plain but neat-
ly furnished room with penants ami
tennis racquets on the wall. A typi-
cal college man's room.
Edmundson: There ia no one here.
We will Just help ourselves to the
Gloco. It's that tall bottle over there
containing the red liquid.
Holden: (Just a trifle doubtful as
usual) Lead the way Fats I'm with
you.
Edmundson: (Picking up bottle
and applying generous dose to his
scalp) Phew! I sure am glad we found
this. Hero you use it Tom.
Holden: (Taking bottle). I thought
you were never going to get through.
I needed It bad too. I sure am going
to use plenty of this.
Edmundson: (Looking all around
for something) Where is a comb?
Holden: Here It is. (Picking it up
from the table and proffering It to

Edmundson: (Looks into the mir-
ror and begins combing his hair hap-
pily singing classic bits from the Bo-
