An old maid friend said she did not need to marry,
because she had a parrot that could swear, a monkey
that chewed tobacco, and a cat that went out at nights.
But she thought we should allow her some interest on
her savings. We do not agree with her on this subject
of marrying, but we will try her interest idea.

is the greatest incentive toward saving money. When
you find your money is earning something, you feel
more like saving. Interest works while you sleep. We
will pay three per cent, interest per annum on
certificates of deposits for six months or longer; paya-
ble on demand.
