; FIRE BOYS TO BANQUET TONIGHT.
Tha two fire departments are re*
1 queried to meet me at Raneaater’a
Kandy Kitchen tonight where they
may eat and drink at our expense. We
are very crateful to them fof saving
our store during the fire some few
days ago
We never saw paid fire companies
do better work any where than our
two companies have been doing late-
ly. We make our Ice cream of fresh
separated Jersey cream and flavor
with fresh peaches, strawberry and
vanilla extract that cost $11.00 per
gallon, that Is why our cream is so
delicious.
KANEASTER S KANDY KITCHEN.
An Urgent Need.
How often you hear the remark, “I
can make money, but I can’t save
any.” Now, really, should it be
or don’t?’’ Do you trv*
can't,
and try tiard? ,If you do, let us sug-
gest something. Open an account
with our BANK. At the end of
eyery week pinch out a little for de-
posit, no matter how small.
It is remarkable how soon you will
take a pride in seeing this account
grow. Then when a chance for in-
vestment shows up you will have the
banker’s advice free, besides the ncc-
essary funds to do the business.
If you are starting out in life with no other assets
than your head and your two hands, nothing will
help you attain the saving habit better than a bank
account.<• i .
THE NEED IS URGENT
THE TIME IS NOW
Ask the successful business man who started out as
you are starting if this is not true. 4 •

Those who have been using new
crop oats hay for their horses and
cows like It. If you have neglected
ordering telephone 45.
The Brown Count; Ha; Crop.
It. looks now like the Brown wood
country would cut hay enough to last
two years.
It has been a custom with our farm-
ers in too many Instances to sell their
hay at harvest time at from $7.50 to
$8.00 per ton and buy from north
Texas and Oklahoma people in the
late winter and early spring bay they
have stored at $16 00 to $18.00
Better borrow money from your
banker now to buy lumber and get
ready to store your hay than to bor-
row later to pay double what the hay
la worth now with interest added, he-
■idesthe money goes away from us.
The sooner the farmer and the bus-
iness men get together to stop the
flow of our bank deposits to other
sections for shipped In fAed tb© great-
er will be the progress of all.
We are now placing on our yards
about 36000 feet of No. 3 Boxing
boards that will makp very good cov-
ering for hay that we are selling at
$20.00 per thousand feet. Of course
a barn is' better and we have a lot of
cheap 2x4 and 2x6 that with these
cheap boards you could construct a
low priced barn that would last you
a number of years.
We are receiving lots of lumber.
Cotn© and let us show you that we
can save money on your purchases in
our line. Your friends.
