May 5, at the church for their
weekly meeting.
Prayer calendar was read
by Mrs. C. P. Hager and
opening prayer was given by
Mrs. H. C. Murrie.
Mrs. Jerry Purcell had
charge of the program which
was entitled “Japanese
Americans” and told the
history of Pearl Harbor and
how we can minister to those
of Japanese ancestery.
It was announced that the
associational meeting will be
in Monahans at Southside
Baptist Church on May 11.
It was also noted that the
Easter Offering goal of $250
had been exceeded.

Twelve members of Future
Teachers Association at
Kermit High School
participated in student
teaching on April 13-I4.
Student teachers observed
one day and taught the next
day.
The three members
participating at Junior High
School were Kayla Roberts,
eighth grade math for Mrs.
Wolf, Stephanie Holmans,
seventh grade social studies
for Mrs. Howell, and Toni
Willmon, seventh and eighth
grade science for Mrs. Kirby.
Two members taught at
Intermediate. They were
Theresa Richardson, fourth
grade for Mrs. Kirk, and
Shannon Lackey, fifth grade
for Mrs. Lackey.
