McMuiiy rolled up a 20-19 lead
in 10 minutes' playing time and
' then had to fight off a Greyhound
rally to hold a half-time lead of
47-41. The contest was nip and
i tuck until with only 210 left to
play Eastern built up a lead of
1 80-76
Winn and Taylor each hit
a field goal to tie things up
1 80-80 with 1:05 left. Harrii
atole the ball and started a
i hair-railing stall which last-
ad until ont second was
left and a desperation set
shot failed.
In the five-mlnutc overtime
the Redmen started off fast to
build up an 87-80 lead with 3:10
left. Eastern then found the
range and a furious scoring duel
followed with McMurry hitting
19 to the visitors' 12 points giv-
ing the Redmen a 99-92 Texas
Conference victory.
To prove that the Friday night
contest was no fluke and that
they were a potent team the In
dians completed the one-two
punch Saturday night.
