Welcome to Sweetwater foryour reunion. This October gathering
provides a great opportunity to renew old friendships, relive
memories and honor fallen comrades.
The Women Air Force Service Pilots (WASP) have a proud record of
service to the nation. / commendyou for the vital role you played
during World War // as you learned to fly United States Army Air
Force airplanes at A venger Field. Your sacrifices for our freedom -
and the freedom of others around the world - will never be forgotten.
To those from out of town, I knowyou will enjoy visiting Sweetwater.
From favorite restaurants and museums to the "Walk of Honor" and
the bronze replica of the WASP mascot "Fifnela, "the city has
something for everyone. lam sure the people you meet will show
you our famous Texas hospitality.
