Miss Eleanor M. McLernon was employed by this office from
25 January 1945 to 21 December 1945. She was originally selected
from among many applicants for a position requiring a high degree
of skill and extensive technical background in aviation.
The. nature of her work has- been the review of accident
reports submitted by Arv, Air Force Accident Investigating Boards
of Officers, Accident cause factors were carefully evaluated and
classified from which important statistical data and accident
reports were prepared.
Miss McLernon prepared many reports that were instrumental
in causing accident prevention measures to be made effective at
Headquarters AAF and which helped to prevent accidents throughout
the entire Arni Air Forces.
It is a leasure for this office to commend Miss McLernon on
the excellence of her work and to recommend her for similar duties
without reservation.
