There will be a normal held Id
Halletsville this year, beginning-
June 17th and closing August-
2nd, to embrace the three coun-
ties of Lavaca, DeWitt and Gon-
zales counties, and also adjoining-
counties. This normal offers-
superior inducements to teachers-
wishing to attend a normal. A
trained faculty will do their best t
efforts and all their time to-
ruake it a success. Prof K. A.
Jones of Halletsville, who has-
taugbt in normal schools for ten.
years and has been a member of
county examining boards eight
years, is conductor. Prof. C. A.
Peterson of Yoakum, has taught
in normals for ten years and
more, and is exceptionally ex-
perienced in this work. Pro-
