FRED’S GRANDCHILDREN
Mrs. Fred H. Minor has re-
turned from California, where
she visited their daughter Kay
Wetterau (2041 Pelham Ave., Los
Angeles, 25) and family.
Kathrine “Kit” will be 9 in
October; Freddie Minor Wet-
terau will be 6 on October 30th;
and the baby, Jennie (named for
Bob’s mother) was born July 10,
1954.
There are a lot of people in
Texas we have not seen, but up
to this time, we have not met a
better man than Fred H. Minor.
We could write a good book about
him.
That reminds us that Mr. and
Mrs. Tom Huffman (Chairman
Highway Committee of the Dal-
las Chamber of Commerce) were
at the “highway banquet” at
Hubbard Hall. Tom is in the
same category as Fred Minor.
OUR GIRL FRIENDS
Among the girls receiving the
Superior Scholarship citation at
TSCW, we see the names of two

cently built a new home.
FRANK TOMLINSON
Distinguished looking man
spoke to us on the street saying,
“I’m Frank Tomlinson.”
Frank has been in El Paso for
a number of years, where he is
associated with the Sunset Motor
line. Pie says El Paso is growing
rapidly — as are all Texas cities.
Frank comes home about once a
year to attend the family re-
union.
HARYEY RIDLON
The Justin Chamber of Com-
merce is headed this year by
men who are well known in Den-
ton, especially Harvey Ridlon,
president, and John D. Faught,
vice-president.
At the recent annual banquet
held in the Northwest High
School gym, the principal ad-

who, it was said, made one of the
best talks heard on such an oc-
casion in a long while.
