of Christ Thursday, August 9, at 8:00 o’clock p.m.
The Bel Canto Chorus was organized in 1949, and has gained recognition and acclaim
among the churches of Christ throughout the nation. Its travels embraces some 15,000 miles

radio broadcasts. Their recorded songs have been featured on many religious programs.
The program to be presented in this community will be in three sections, embracing

The more successful a man
is, the more dangerous he is to
the community — if he is not
connected with the church. He
is more dangerous than a
criminal. Why? People will
make him their ideal but they
will not make the criminal their
ideal.

Paul’s statement to the Philip-
pians (4:13): “I can do all
things through Christ which
strengtheneth me.”
From “Science and Health
with Key to the Scriptures” by
Mary Baker Eddy will be read
the following (182:30-4): ‘"To
admit that sickness is a condi-
tion over which God has no
control, is to presuppose that
omnipotent power is powerless
on some occasions. The law of
Christ, or Truth, makes all
things possible to Spirit; but
the so-called laws of matter
would render Spirit of no avail,
and demand obedience to ma-
terialistic codes, thus departing
from the basis of one God, one
lawmaker.”
