and program last week.
The President, Mrs. C. E. Carl, [
called the meeting to order. As an 1
opening exercise, Mrs. Messer led |
the group in a snappy game of |
marching to music, and finding
"George Washington's little red1
hatchets.” which were hidden a-!
bout the room. Numbers were add-
ed. and Mrs. Hollingsworth re-
ceived the prize for the high score.
The minutes of the last meet- j
in g was read by the secretary. Mrs.!
Jim Hollingsworth, minutes were
approved as read.
The Council report was read by 1
the delegate, Mrs Boldrcv. who
uImi read the Expansion and Ex-
hibit recommendations, which
were accepted by the Club.
Motion was made by Mrs Riley
and seconded bv Mrs. Hollings- 1
worth, that the Club buy a zipper
note-hook for the Council Dele-
gate.
Announcement was made of the I
T H D A. district meeting to be |
held in Longview. Mav 12th. I
The business meeting adjourned,;
and was turned over to the pro-
gram chair*.lan, who presented
Miss Irma Ross. County Home
Demonstration Agent, who gave a
very interesting demonstration on
"Making Sponge Cake.”
The hostess Mr* Alewine. serv-
ed the delicious cake and coffee
