Methodist Church
Holy Week at the Hawkins
Methodist church will In- ob-

according to an announcement
from Rev Hoo|mt Haygood, pas-
tor.
Arrangement* are now being
made for the annual Crippled
Children's clinic, sponsored by the
Wood and Upshur county Health
Units, according to Dr. W. T.
Black, director of the Wood Coun-
ty unit. Dr Black urges parent*
and guardians to register crippled
children now in order that they
may be notified of the clinic when
final plan* have been made
Any person 21 years of age or
under may take advantage «if the
clinic Each patient will receive
free examination and diagnosis
and will be informed on any pos-
sible cure and the best method ol

class met Thursday night at the
White Oak Baptist church for its
monthly social and business meet-

The opening prayer was led by
Myrt McKinney, and Mary Lou
Messiner brought a very impres-
sive devotional on Easter and its
true meaning The hostess for the
social was Dot Taylor and Mary
Lou Messiner

roast honoring the husbands at the
