Music Council, acting for the
USO. The girls were selected for
their musical ability, stage per-
sonality, high scholastic stand-
and experience in the TWU Mod-
ern Choir. Miss Hawking sings
second soprano, and is a member
of the TWU Orchestra.
BAPTIST LADIES MEET
Monday Baptist WMS met in
the church to study the second
chapter of the mission study book
“The Bible and Race," with
theme. “Of One." The study was
led by Mrs. O. J. Cooper with the
devotional related to the theme.
There were six present to parti-
cipate in the study.
Next program will be from the
Royal Service mission magazine.
Closing prayer was brought by
Mrs. E. W. King.
