____Election Roundup
Artie Shaw Orchestra PheP Joan Blqndeli and Dick
Wayne king i’owcll get together in a comedy-
+........News drama which deals with one of
Election Roundup those curious aftermaths of mar-
that divorce doesn’t always solve
everything.
In the natural course of things,
Dick does become a divorce law-
yer and a very successful one.
Ami then the fun really begins!
Joan is opposed to having her
husband the type of man who
separates couples easily for a fee.
but Dick likes the money Involved.
There are all sorts of results of
tliia condition.
The picture has the benefit of
the expert direction of- Ralph
Murphy, who has endeavored to
realize fully upon the comic and
romantic potentialities <#>t .the
Btondell-Powell team, and has if
the advance niticos on the picture
are any indication.
Incidentally, this picture is also
marked by the film debut of a
young lad named Mickey Kuhn,
who is seen as tile son of Gloria
Dickson and Conrad, Nagel, di-
vorced couple in the picture.
Mickey, irom all reports, docs a
sensational job. In fact, he dem-
onstrated such talent that Miss
Blonde!! and Dick Powell has de-
cided to sponsor his screen career.
