the University of Texas depart-
ment of history spoke to Howard
Payne College students at the
chapel hour Monday. Dr. Webb
is nationally known as an out-
standing author three of his more
important books being "The Great
Plains" "The Texas Rangers" and
"The Gieat Frontier."

Electronic business machines
and assembly production were
studied bv 20 Hftward Payne Col-
lege business majors when they
made their annual field trip to
Dallas April 2 and 3.
At the Merchandise Mart the
students visited numerous show
rooms where household furnish-
ings toys clothes and various
types of merchandise were dis-
played for the benefit of buyers
of the entire Southwest.

time as the cyclone and watched
as it hurled roof tops and shingles

blocks away. Although caught in
the traffic congestion the students
were able to reach the hotel
safely.
