All-Tournament in the 19th an-
nual Harper Tournament. Jane
is a guard on the Longhorn team.
The first place winners of the
Harper Tourney were the Me-
dina girls and Bandera boys.
The Bandera girls lost the play-
off Saturday night to Medina,1
giving them a second place. The |
Bandera boys also made it to the I
finals and won against Comfort.
The Comfort girls and Schreiner
boys won Consolation.
Other members on the All-
Tournament team for the girls
are forwards: Collins from Me-
dina, Godbold from Leakey, and
Bourland from Comfort. The
guards were Montague from
Bandera, Witt from Center
Point, and Braesicke from
Knippa. The boys’ All-Tourney
team were: Brice from Leakey,
Leader from Center Point,

AND BAND MUSIC!
A free chili supper has been
slated for Dec. 15 from 5 to 8
p.m. by the H.H.S. Band Boos-
ters. There will be music by the
Longhorn band during the sup-
per. The supper was planned to
raise funds to buy new band uni-
forms and donations would be
appreciated. Everyone is wel-
come to come and enjoy a night
of music, free food, and friends.
Support the Longhorn band and
have fun doing it.

library as memorials by Mr. and
Mrs. Emil Wahrmund. “Texas,”
by Stanley Walker, was pre-
sented in memory of Mrs. A. J.
Roach and “Book of the Ameri-
can West,” by Jay Monaghan, is
a memorial to Mrs. Adolf Reeh.
We wish to thank Mr. and Mrs.
Wahrmund for these gifts; they
are a valuable addition to our li-
