GIRL SCOUT ACTIVITIES
On Sulurdny, February 10th, the
Girl Scouts held their quarterly
election of officers who are as
follows: Rosalie Renger, Song
Leader; Ad.ela Ruth Poch, Treas-
urer; Janet Uother, Scribe; Paul
Marie Poch, Librarian; Helen Mar-
ie Sokol anil Melba Rae Sokol,
Patrol Leaders.
The Scouts had a grand time
last Saturday when they met at
the City Hall at 10:00 a. m. and
went on n hike. After hiking a-
bout two and a half miles, every-
one was hungry and ready for
food so they got, busy and pre-
pared an elegant dinner. Rocks
were gathered to make an oven
to bake potatoes und wood .wus
gathered for fires. After every-
one had epten, borne of the Scouts
worked on their Nature Studies,
while others went craw fishing.
About 3:30 p. m. Captain Ren-
ger called the roll and all started
home. Altho tired and weary from
the day’s experience all went home
happy and looking forward to the
next hike.
We wish to thank the Troop
Committee for the delicious cook-
ies they furnished for the hike.
On Saturday, March 2nd, the
Scout- w[U have their Investi-
ture Ceremony, at which all girls
having passed their tender-foot
test will be invested a Scout and
win receive their pins.

to the Monday Bridge Club which
met at her home this week. The
