Tri-College
picnic Sept. 25
The McMurry Student Govern-
ment will kick off this year's
Tri-College programs with a fall
picnic hosted by Hardin-Simmons
Universtiy on September 25.
"This picnic gives us an oppor-
tunity to meet on an informal
basis and get to know one another
while we work together" said
Todd Bynum MSG President.
According to Bynum working
with Hardin-Simmons and Abi
lene Christian Universities can
provide many benefits for the
McMurry community.
Petitions due
for Homecoming
As Homecoming draws closer
(already) nominations for Home
coming royalty are in the works.
Today September 23 is the
final day to turn in petitions for
Reservation Princess and Chief
McMurry. The preliminary elec-
tion will be held Tuesday Sep-
tember 27 from 10-5 in the
Campus Center.
Each class will hold separate
meetings to nominate favorites on
Tuesday October 4 at 9:30 a.m.
Election of all campus royalty will
be held Tuesday October 11.
Nominees for Reservation Prin-
cess and Chief McMurry must be
seniors (90 hours). Favorites for
each class must also have the
designated hours.
