Houston a few dayg ago. Mr. Quaile
received entries from the following

races held* at Louisville a short, time
ago also established a new record in
the 51G class.
There will be three main speed I
boat events. The first, offering a
prize list of $750, will be for boats of
the 725 class. First money will be
$400. second $250, and thlrd1^ $100.
The second event, open to boats of
- the 510 class,' will offer $600 in
prizes, first money, to be $300, second
$200 and third $100.
The feature evept of the program
will be the free for all, offering $1,-
000 "in prizes. This event will be
over a fifteen mile course. The oth-
er two events will be over a ten-mile
course, consisting of a mile straight
away with a Quarter mile on the

4 Had a glance at the absentee'voters
who have been sending in for ballots
for the run-olf primary, in the clerk’s
office, and they all seem to bo Moody
voters. There are not as many appli-
cations for absentee voting as in the
first primary and five of ^ie ballots
have been sent to Kerrville to Dr. W.
A. McLeod and wife, Mrs. Sam Ben-
net, Miss Lizzie Kyle and Rev. J. H.
Freeland. We can’t figure any Fergu-
son votes from that crowd.*

owners. Charlie ig a hustler and has
a little of everything on his farm,
