MONICA DRISSILE LOWE
first PRIZE winner--Little Monica uriauie Lowe, two-and-
a-half-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Lowe of Wash-
ington, D.C., was the first price winner of the St. Jsmee Amf
church Senior Usher board's Baby contest.
The contest Is sponsored by the church annually. This year the
church raised $2056.84 with Monica bringing In $840.20.
Mra. Myrtle Johnson was sponsor of little Monica. Co-sponsors
were Mesdames Mattie Martin, M.W. Ryce and Carrie L. Wynne.
Monica Is the granddaughter of Rev. and Mra. Ivan Christian,
formerly of San Antonio, now living In Savannah, Ga., and the great
niece of Olaf and William Green of San Antonio.
Mrs. Ruby Green la president and Rev. Roger A. Givens, minister.

SECOND PRIZE WINNER--Darryl T. Dean Jr., son of Mr. and
Mrs. Darryl T. Dean, was the second place winner In the Baby
contest of St. James AME Church's Senior Usher board. He brought

His grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Smith and his spon-
sor was Mrs. Vernlce Green. Co-sponsors were Mesdames Ann
Smith and Matilda Carter.
