MRS. AIKIN COIN
last week when I was in Beck
ville I dropped by the home of
Mrs Aikm Edens She'd been
working in her flower bed in the
luck yard and had just had time
to take off her shoes and rinse
off her tootsies as I rang the door
bell Her shoes were across the hall
way and as I would see her bare-
footed anyway if she got them, she
just came to the door barefooted
When she found out who I was
.she raised the roof.
Don't you dare print anything

said sternly.
I assured Mrs. Edens that I was
a gentleman and that she could
say a word about Mrs. Edens com-
ing to the door barefooted.

that particular type of buggy and
a certain horse and all the rigg-

exactly right Reese helped his
